HSL Properties Holds Opening for Hampton Inn & Suites – Rita Tech Park

HSL Properties held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the recently built Hampton Inn & Suites – Rita Tech Park, 9095 S. Rita Road, on May 23, 2019. Representatives from the Tucson and Vail chambers of commerce spoke at the ceremony and representatives from Diamond Ventures, HSL’s partner in building this hotel, were on hand.

The newly constructed 104-suite hotel, which was built for $13 million, is the first nationally branded hotel in the area. The hotel is adjacent to the University of Arizona’s Tech Park, where more than 50 companies such as IBM and Raytheon operate, Pima County Fairgrounds and Tucson Motor Speedway.

The new Hampton Inn & Suites acquisition is the 11th hotel in the HSL Properties hotel portfolio, including The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain and the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Hotel and Resort. The hotel portfolio totals more than 1,932 guest rooms. HSL Properties also owns and operates just under 10,000 apartment units in 37 apartment communities throughout Arizona.
