Van Buren St. in Goodyear, Arizona. HSL purchased the 226-residence community, now called Encantada at Canyon Trails, from Alliance Residential for $23.6 million on May 3.
Tucson, AZ (05/10/13) – HSL Properties announces the rebranding of its sixth Encantada luxury apartment community with the recent acquisition of Broadstone Canyon Trails Apartments, 16450 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear, Arizona. HSL purchased the 226-residence community, now called Encantada at Canyon Trails, from Alliance Residential for $23.6 million on May 3.
Built in 2008, Encantada at Canyon Trails features 218,868 square feet of building space situated on a 12.6-acre parcel near the Estrella Mountains. The luxury community offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. The community has a fully appointed fitness center, resort-style pool and spa, outdoor fireplace, fire pit with cushioned seating, movie theatre, internet lounge and multimedia social room.
The Goodyear acquisition is the latest for HSL Properties, which, along with its affiliates, owns 42 apartment communities in Arizona. HSL Properties recently broke ground on Encantada at Steam Pump Ranch, a 288-unit, $33 million project in Oro Valley north of Tucson, and is building Encantada at Dove Mountain, a 272-unit, $30 million apartment project in Marana, north of Tucson. Last year, HSL completed Encantada at Riverside Crossing, a 304-unit, luxury apartment community in Tucson, and acquired Encantada at Queen Creek, a 264-residence community, from Alliance Residential. HSL continues to seek apartment and hotel acquisition and development opportunities in Arizona.
